highlighter strategy

Editing your story is a very important  - Make sure you read it through carefully and check:
Will your story make sense to your reader and will it interest them?
Have you given a satisfactory ending?
Is your spelling correct?
Make sure you have used a range of punctuation ,  .  !  “  “  ?  (  )
 Start a new paragraph for:
•A change of time, e.g. Early the next morning…
•A change of place e.g. On the other side of the mountain stood…
•A change of action e.g. At that moment the lights went out.
A change of character e.g. Unexpectedly, Dr Townley rounded the corner.

We are using the story mountain to help us  with our planning

In a mythical world like no other a monkey samurai named Oda was crawling along the rocky chocolate footpath. Oda is really funny, loves giving hugs but has a very loud voice. Oda heard a man yelling something really weird. Oda went to talk with the man across the chocolate runny river. Odd said to the man " what is your name?" The man said "my name is captain awesome and I am scared of the monster that is coming!" What type of monster?" "An oni." "We must defend chocolate world." Another year of fun later...  (The Ono was on its way) finally said Oda "there coming to our land of chocolate." The odi said in a loud voice, "I will give you my marshmallows for some of your chocolate!" Odi said in a monstrous voice "NO!" The monster was horrified and started to run away and that was the end of that! The end
